Bell just launched a new plan for smart watches today. For a one-time activation cost of $10, then $5 monthly thereafter, you can add a smartwatch to your existing Bell Share plan. The first 3 months of this plan are currently free, but there is no hint of whether this bonus will last long or not.
The Smartwatch plan with NumberShare syncs your iPhone directly with your Apple Watch Series 3, so that you can use your data and voice time on both devices any time. If you go over your monthly data allowance then additional data is $0.07 per MB.
Bell is the first Canadian carrier to offer this kind of plan, and the first to support the LTE network capabilities of the Apple Watch Series 3, so it will be interesting to see if more carriers adopt this idea over time. You can read more about the plan or FAQs at Bell's website.
