I think it's a clever way to get money. First off it's a great plan except for the 45cents a minute during the day, which is when I am most likely to be called or have to call either my mother or father. I like how the phone is stylish. But (and I've never owned another phone to buy ringtones/games) the prices on these things are just crazy! 7-9$s a game and 3.50cents a ringtone. I suppose that might be reasonable if you were a mad man! Oh and by the way the camera is just an add on. It's mearly just a toy o.3 Megapixels. I've managed to get a few shots on high quality (which really isn't that high). It's a great phone for teenagers. The only real thing that cheese's me off is the fact that you can't get ringtones, screensavers, games, ...etc from many other sources other then what solo/bell w/e gives you and trust me that's not a load of options. Even if you buy the 45$ cord for the computer you have to also have the program to run the damn thing which I searched all across the internet to find for days and still nothing. Oh, and I guess this is just another add on but the fact that when you go to ringtones/screensaver/etc sites you don't see Solo/sanyo phones and carriers anywhere! I'm personally hoping it will catch on!But this might have been some ploy to make a crap load of money because the phones are expensive enough you've also got to pay the 45cents/min and then whatever the hell else you've got. I just got a 20$ card (which by the way is the lowest card you can buy) on my phone right? I'm down to about...6-7-8$ within 5 days. And I've only made 4 short calls. It's MADNESS I TELL YOU!
On the plus side! FREE TEXT MESSAGING! FREE CALLER DISPLAY!
FREE BROWSER (INTERNET)..which is still limited. And the text messaging is no longer with the older version of this phone..
Sometimes I think I could find a video camera with more options. Anyways enjoy your phone.
