ZTE MY39 PC Card

Reviewed on Tuesday April 1, 2008 by siva, vijayawada, andhra pradesh, india
in my location, the main internet service provider, bsnl, has been charging rs 900 + about 12% service tax for unlimited broadband usage.

since, my main interest is to pursue online tutorials, the speed of ZTE MY39 PC Card which was quoted as 114 Kbps is sufficient for me, i felt. further, this is being provided at a rate of just rs 250 + about 12% service tax, per month with flexibility of using at any place/district surrounding my area.

its portability and economical usage charges appealed me a lot.

i purchased the card and subscribed for it.

most regrettably, this card had not worked at my living place (not even a single line of signal was found), while at the office of demonostration at bsnl bhavan, it ran very fast.

in order to make use of this device on my desk top pc, i had spent rs 1300 for interface card besides spending an amount of rs 3193 for the wireless internet device.

since signal is not catching and i am not having a laptop, i feel that all the amount spent it has gone waste.

our service provider is not permitting for a demo at our living/where we use the device.

i am sorry.

Had this card for 3 months, works fine. It drops sigle in low power areas. If you needs more speed this is not the card for you. For 100 bucks with no contract you can't go wrong.

Poor Result

I have been using it for sometime now. It never gave me a speed higher than 400kbps. Inspite of the coverage.
