I wanted a rugged phone and the Kyocera is that. The trade off is that you have a phone that is so inferior that it will consume a tremendous amount of your time. Number 1 in time consumption is that the phones touchscreen will stay busy calling and surfing anytime that it is near a human body. The camera is an absolute joke! Trust me that I can't even begin to describe how bad it is. I have had many phones over my 61 years including one of the early car phones in 1975 that was actually a short wave radio and Kyocera should stick with printers. Sorry but this is $450 thrown in the trash!

Have had this phone for 2 years now. You could drive nails with it. Works perfectly. It's a phone for heaven's sake.

This phone will work fine for a while then suddenly stop receiving signal. I have had two and they both had this problem. It's not my service. On the bright side, this phone has loud speakers and is indeed water resistant.
