ogers is a wholly owned subsiduary of Rogers Communications. In November 2004 Rogers purchased Fido becoming the largest Canadian cell phone company. Bell has recently regained the title with their acquisition of Virgin Mobile. Rogers is no longer the only GSM provider in Canada as TELUS and Bell co-launched their GSM network on November 4th & 5th.A number of companies operate as MVNOS including 7-Eleven Speakout Wireless, Petro-Canada Mobility, Primus Wireless, Sears Connect and more.
