Latitude Wireless

Latitude Wireless Inc. is a cellular service provider that owns and maintains network infrastructure in 17 Yukon communities.

Latitude Wireless maintains roaming agreements with the other major cellular providers in Canada and the U.S. allowing for seamless use of Latitude Wireless service across most of North America.

In the Yukon, Northwestel Inc. and the Dakwakada Development Corporation (a business investment arm of the Champagne & Aishihik First Nations) are working together through Latitude Wireless Inc. on the ongoing ownership, maintenance, delivery, and improvement of Latitude Wireless service.

In the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, Latitude Wireless is owned and operated solely by Northwestel Inc.

Northwestel Inc. provides complete telecommunications solutions for the 110,000 residents of the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon and northern British Columbia. The company's operations span nearly 4 million square kilometres of the most remote and rugged areas of Canada. Northwestel is wholly owned by Bell Canada.
