September's Coming! 2018 iPhone Speculations

June 19, 2018 by

Summer has only started, but the beginning of September is rearing its ugly head for some vibrant additions to the cell phone industry. For starters, Apple is rumored to unveil the latest iteration of their iPhone—or more than one, for that matter. From their pattern of releases in the past, some speculate the announcement of multiple phones much like they did last September for the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X. These phones will range in different sizes measuring at 5.8”, 6.5” for OLED models and a 6.1” LCD model with staggered prices.

Some analysts have noted that the iPhone X sold poorly since its release and might be discontinued. It’ll likely be replaced with an upgraded model that addresses prior concerns, including the steep price, fragile camera lens, overheating and touchscreen issues, as well as some less conventional problems including hair pulling.

The new iPhone model will likely capitalize on the bezel craze and spread the rule of its screen further than ever known to man. This will also come with an enhanced resolution and Apple’s facial recognition software, Face ID, which his currently in the works to become bigger and better. The new A12 processor chip will with little doubt be included to increase performance and make things speedier than ever.

Arguably the biggest feature of any phone is the camera and the next generation of phones won’t disappoint. The Huawei P20 Pro’s innovative triple-camera design revolutionized the industry earlier this year and Apple probably won’t falter to rival its hype with their own. Another primary concern of previous iPhones is the exuberant battery usage, which degrades with time. Apple will likely include a larger battery of up to 3400mAh to accommodate, which means a potential increase of nearly 25% in capacity.

Are these changes appealing enough to drop nearly another grand on a new phone? Perhaps we should wait for some more rumors.
