BlackBerry Motion will be Available in Canada Next Week

November 3, 2017 by
TCL Communications unveiled the BlackBerry Motion earlier this month, and have confirmed that it will be launching in Canada on November 10th. This is TCL's first BlackBerry smartphone to receive an IP67 water and dust resistance rating. It is quite similar to the KEYone, with an Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, 32GB of internal storage, and 4GB of RAM, but costs about $100 less. BlackBerry Motion is what you would expect of a business-focused BlackBerry device, but has a 5.5" touchscreen rather than a physical Qwerty keyboard.

Key Features:

  • Made for privacy - Not everything is meant to be shared. Protect the private details of your life, both work and personal. Use the Private Zone to lock away photos, messages, and confidential documents in a secure zone that can be accessed with the Fingerprint Sensor. Use Privacy Share to prevent people around you from seeing private and sensitive content on your screen.

  • Made for efficiency - With the Smart Convenience Key you can customize to bring up apps and functions you use most often. Now you can further customize based on where you are; in the car, at home, or at work.
  • Impressive photos in any light  - 12 MP main camera with large pixel auto-focus, 8 MP front camera with wide angle lens and flash, 4K video recording, and a built-in scanner to save digital copies of documents or receipts.
