Bell Windows Phone 7 LG Optimus Quantum Now Available

Bell Mobility today released its first smartphone running on the new Windows Phone 7 platform, the LG Optimus Quantum™, the only Windows Phone 7 device available in Canada to feature a slide-out QWERTY keyboard to accompany the touchscreen. The Optimus Quantum also "organizes information on six hubs - People, Pictures, Games, Music + Video, Marketplace and Office while the ScanSearch application brings together online and offline worlds with real-time shopping, dining, weather, entertainment and banking information." Other features include a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, 5.0 MP camera with HD video, Office Mobile apps, Xbox LIVE integration, Zune Media player, WiFi and unique 'Live Tile' start screen. The LG Optimus Quantum is available starting from $99.95 on a 3-year term with minimum $50 voice and data plan.

Other Windows Phone 7 devices released today in Canada were the Samsung Focus™ at Rogers, and the HTC 7 Surround™ & LG Optimus™ 7 at TELUS.
