Rumour: Rogers & Fido Adding New Apple iPhone Plans

Rogers & Fido are rumoured to be adding new Apple iPhone rate plans to compete with Bell & TELUS new iPhone plans.  Rogers plan focuses on the high end consumer while Fido's plan focuses on the everyday consumer.   You can find a full breakdown of each plan below:

Rogers - $95/month

  • 36 month contract/renewal
  • 650 + 50 Minutes
  • Unlimited Evenings/Weekends @ 6PM
  • Visual Voicemail
  • 1GB Data + Tethering
  • Caller Display
  • Unlimited MMS
  • Government Regulatory Fee (varies by province)
This plan competes with TELUS's $80 & $95 per month plans and Bell's $75 & $95 per month plans.  Again, it's very hard to compare carrier to carrier because of the different minutes, options and data usage each plan offers.

Fido - $50/month

  • 36 month contract/renewal
  • 100 Minutes
  • Unlimited Evenings/Weekends @ 7PM
  • 500MB Data
  • Unlimited SMS 
  • No SAF, No Government Regulatory Fee
This plan competes with TELUS's $50 per month plan and Bell's $55 per month plan.
