The Samsung Galaxy Spica is now available from Rogers across Canada. Last week we reported that internet rumours had Rogers launching the Android powered Smartphone in the near future. We've got full information after the break.
Late last week Bell announced that they would be bringing the Motorola DEXT to Canada. TELUS previously announced the Backflip which left the Motorola Quench to Rogers. We don't have a firm release date for any of the three MOTOBLUR enabled smartphones. We've got full details after the jump.

Today Rogers launched their official blog where they plan on discussing news and ideas as well as industry issues and trends. The RedBoard web site is seen as a new way for Rogers to communicate with their customers along with their twitter accounts.

Today Rogers announced that they too are now offering DRM-free over the air downloads through their urMusic.ca music service. The move follows TELUS's recent annoucement of the same ability that enables customers to download, listen and enjoy their music across different devices.

Acer has announced that the Liquid e Android 2.1 Smartphone will be coming to Rogers later this spring. It will be Canada's first Android 2.1 Smartphone featuring a 3.5" WVGA display, 5.0 megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-fi, Bluetooth and more.

Rogers released their 2009 4th Quarter results this morning which saw them add 109,000 new wireless customers. They also added 400,000 smartphones to their network pushing wireless data revenue to 24% of all wireless revenue. We've got the full results after the break.

As expected Rogers has added the Samsung Flight & LG Pop to their cell phone line-up. The Samsung Flight starts at $69.99 on a 3 year contract while the LG Pop starts at $19.99 on a 3 year contract.
