Fido customers in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Atlantic Canada will notice changes to their mobile rate plan options as of today - Plus 5 Promo plans have been replaced with a Plus 15 tier. This change spans all plans in the region, from basic talk & text plans, to smartphone Pulse plans with data.

Pulse plans also now all come with a generous 2GB more of data.

You can check out all of the new plans on Fido's website, or see them side-by-side using our comparison tool! Here's a few of the new BC plans available.

About Fido:  Fido Solutions is a Canadian cellular telephone service provider owned by Rogers Communications. It used to be owned by Microcell Telecommunications. Although Fido's parent company also operates another wireless brand named Rogers Wireless, it remains mostly separate as Fido has retained its own retail chain, customer service call centres, network servers and CEO. Fido pioneered the concept of providing unlimited service in select Canadian cities. Fido was the first carrier in Canada to launch a GSM-based network and the first wireless service provider in North America to offer General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) on its network. - Wikipedia
