TELUS Text-to-landline - a service that allows customers to send a text message to a landline number and have it converted into a voice message before being received by the landline - will no longer be available as of March 1st, 2016.
Effective the week of January 1, 2016 and up to February 29, 2016 TELUS customers using the Text-to-landline service will receive the following message:
"Effective March 1, 2016, TELUS will no longer offer text to landline service. If you send a text to a landline number after this date, it will not be delivered and no error message will be sent back to you."
This affects all TELUS Mobility customers: that means all Consumer (postpaid and prepaid) and all Business.
