Effective yesterday, Bell has discontinued the HTC Legend 'due to ongoing supply constraints from the manufacturer'. This comes just 2 months and 2 days after the June 16th launch date. If you had your heart set on the Legend, you better start calling around - remaining units in store will continue to be sold until the inventory is out. Bell has stated anyone who is interested in the HTC Legend should be 're-directed to Bell's terrific line-up of Android smartphones'. The Android smartphones currently available at Bell include the Motorola Dext with MOTOBLUR, the Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant, and it's predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy. No word yet on whether the Virgin Mobile HTC Legend will be discontinued. The Android smartphone is still available for sale on their website.
