The word "Mobilicity" was chosen as a combination of Mobile and Simplicity. Mobilicity plans on name-brand handsets (like BlackBerry & Nokia) while offering unlimited plans with no credit check and no contract to sign. They have plans to launch in Toronto this Spring with Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa coming online later this year.
