TELUS To Launch Motorola Milestone In Early 2010

Today, Motorola Canada announced it will bring its first Android-powered device, the much-anticipated Motorola Milestone, only to TELUS customers in early 2010.

Motorola Milestone, powered by the newest version of Android, sets a new standard for what a smartphone should be with a richer mobile web experience, superior messaging and top-of-the-line multi-media features in an innovative design that could only come from Motorola.

Key features of the Motorola Milestone include:
  • Powered by the latest version of Android, Android 2.0
  • World’s thinnest QWERTY slider at just 13.7mm
  • 3.7” widescreen display with 854 pixel width and more than 400,000 total pixels
  • Pinch & zoom and double tap features
  • 5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash
  • Motorola Media Link and Motorola Phone Portal
  • Stereo Bluetooth®
  • CrystalTalk™ Plus for superior talk quality
Additional features and apps include:
  • Full suite of the Google applications: Google Maps with Latitude, Google Talk™, Google Mail, YouTube
  • Unified Google and Microsoft Office Contacts
  • Navigation: GPS, MOTONAV
  • Email Support: IMAP and POP, Google Mail
  • IM Support: Google Talk
  • Calendar: Exchange, Calendar

The Motorola Milestone will be a great addition to Telus’ new line-up of GSM/HSDPA phones, which includes the iPhone, HTC Hero, Nokia E71 and LG New Chocolate BL40.
