Bell Offers Video Calling Feature for Mobile Phones and Facebook

November 4, 2009
If you’re going to get the LG Xenon or Samsung OMNIA II from Bell, you’ll now be able to make and receive video calls to family and friends who also have the LG Xenon or Samsung OMNIA II.

Plus, through an exclusive free Facebook app, you can use the web cam in your computer and connect with those who have either handset - anywhere in the world without incurring long distance or usage charges.

The Bell Video Calling service is available for $5 a month, or depending what plan you get, it may be included in your monthly charge.

Adel Bazerghi, Bell Mobility’s SVP of Products says “Bell Mobility is the first mobile provider in North America to offer a video calling service that lets clients see and talk to each other by phone and also integrates seamlessly with a client’s Facebook profile. Facebook friends can use their web cams to place video calls to Bell Mobility clients in Canada with Video Calling capable phones via a dedicated page on their Facebook profile.”
