Long Distance
Monthly PlansLong distance calls are 35˘/minute within Canada and (from Canada) to the U.S.
International long distance charges vary depending on the local company for outgoing calls, and are billed at the Solo Mobile rate for incoming calls.
- You pay only for the minutes your call is connected
- Each rate period runs from the given start time until, but not including, the start time given for the next period
Each call is 35˘/minute plus the regular airtime rates within Canada within Canada and (from Canada) to the U.S.. International long distance charges vary depending on the local company for outgoing calls and is billed at the Solo Mobile rate for incoming calls.
- You pay only for the minutes your call is connected
- Where direct-dial station-to-station facilities are not available, operator-assisted calls from a home or business still qualify for direct-dial rates
- Each rate period runs from the given start time until, but not including, the start time given for the next period
- Find out specific city-to-city rates by dialing "0" (zero) and asking the operator for rates and charges
Roaming
The rate you are charged is based on the agreements Solo Mobile has with American service providers. It is based on the technology that processed the call and not on the technology of your phone (i.e. a digital phone using an analog network is billed at the analog rate).
Exception
In rare cases, you may pick up a digital signal from a carrier that Solo Mobile only has an analog roaming agreement with. In this case, you would be billed at the analog rate even though the call is placed through a digital network. This can happen to both voice and Mobile BrowserTM calls.
