Basic Features

Call Display

$9 per month

Call Display gives you the flexibility to choose to answer an incoming call or customize your greeting based on the calling party! Prioritize your calls by combining Call Display with Call Waiting to see incoming calling numbers while you’re on the phone.

Note: Some analog handsets do not support Call Display.

Call Forwarding

$3 per month

Redirect incoming calls from your cell phone to your home phone, office number, voice mail, pager, or anywhere in Canada and the U.S.

Call Forward Immediate will redirect all calls as soon as your number is called.
Call Forward No Answer allows calls to be forwarded only when you’re away from your phone or when you choose not to take the call.
Call Forward Busy will forward your second caller to the destination of your choice when you’re busy on another call.

Note: Regular airtime charges apply to forwarded calls. Long distance charges will apply if you are forwarding your calls to a number outside your home calling area.

Call Waiting

Included

Call Waiting allows you to answer a second call without hanging up on your first call. You’ll hear a two-beep tone telling you that another caller is waiting.

Note: Airtime charges will apply on both calls, if you accept the second call.

Conference Calling

Included

4G: Conference Calling allows you to add up to six people to your phone calls. This feature is included with most calling plans and is available as soon as your phone is activated.

Note: Airtime charges apply to all calls.

CDMA: Conference Calling or 3-Way Calling allows you to add on a third person to your phone calls. The feature is included with most calling plans and is available as soon as your phone is activated! Host a meeting on the move, or organize the upcoming weekend with a couple of pals.

Note: Airtime charges apply to both calls.

Detailed Billing

$4 per month

Detailed Billing provides a statement of all calls showing:

the time
date
duration
number called (to or from your cellular phone)

Detailed Billing provides information on local as well as long distance calls.

MiniMail

$8 per month

MiniMail® Service is one of two voice mail options available through MTS Wireless. MiniMail allows you to have up to 10 three-minute messages stored for a maximum of five days. This includes new, archived (saved) or ’set for future delivery’ messages. When you subscribe to MiniMail service you’ll also receive Call Forward at no extra cost.

Note: Airtime charges apply when accessing MiniMail service from your cell phone. While roaming out of province, long distance charges may apply, in addition to airtime and roaming charges. When using a landline Touch Tone™ phone to access your messages, long distance charges may apply, but airtime charges will not apply.

Voicemail

$9 per month

Voicemail can take messages for you when you're unavailable or when your line is busy. Messages can be retrieved from your cell phone or any other phone. Voice Mail allows you to receive up to 25 messages that can be saved for up to 25 days. When you subscribe to Voicemail you’ll also receive Call Forward at no extra cost.

Note: Airtime charges apply when accessing Voice Mail from your cell phone. While roaming out of province, long distance charges may apply, in addition to airtime and roaming charges. When using a landline Touch Tone™phone to access your messages, long distance charges may apply, but airtime charges will not apply.

Visual Voicemail for iPhone

$9 per month

With Visual Voicemail for iPhone you can listen to all your messages without having to dial into the voicemail service. Visual Voicemail for iPhone is free to customers who have an iPhone and who subscribe to Enhanced Voicemail.

Note: Customers must have a Data connection in order to use Visual Voice Mail. Data charges will be incurred when a voice mail is deposited in the customers Visual Voice Mail box (unless you are on an Unlimited Data plan) customers can listen to this voice message as many time as they want without incurring charges. When accessing voice messages by dialing in on your keypad please note that Airtime charges will apply. While roaming out of province long distance and data roaming charges may apply, in addition to airtime and roaming charges. When using a landline Touch Tone phone to access your messages, long distance charges may apply, but airtime charges will not apply.

411 Directory Assistance

$1.75/call + airtime

On the go and don't have access to the Internet? Get the information you need using MTS's enhanced Directory Assistance.

Call 4-1-1 from your cell phone and get access to:

Residential and business contact information
Movie theatre times, descriptions and ratings
5 day weather information
Detailed driving directions
Business category search - search for the type of business you need. For example, if you need a plumber at your cottage, call 4-1-1 and ask for a list of plumbers in your area.
