Umx/Tempo phone stops working no support

Reviewed on Thursday November 2, 2017 by , Las Vegas Nevada
UMX Lifeline phone I got through Tempo was brand new in box when I got it. Needless to say I have had it 6 months and it stopped working. Phone was fine when I went to sleep and I wake up no signal and no bars and can not connect to network. Spent 45 minutes in my Apt. managers office on hold waiting for help. Once the agent answered my call she walked me through reprogramming network and checking all the right things off which got erased when you reset it. Still dosen't work, terrible phone!!!!

UmX BATTERY LIFE IS AWFUL<>NO LIFELINE WITH UMX

Reviewed on Saturday July 22, 2017 by , Yonkers, New York
The older phone stopped working, assurance offer me an upgrade for an additional cost reasonable. They sent a UMX lifeline phone I charged it and all works Great. Used it till battery was very low. Again I charged the phone 100% then I turn it off. Didn't use it for a day, turned it on two days later and the battery is completely DEAD! What if I was kidnapped, feeling secure I try to call for help knowing I had a100% charged phone. I go too make call for HELP and the BATTERY IS DEAD! How awful is that! The features are nice but not the battery so what good is the phone if the battery dies without use on off?

Shame to UMX

Reviewed on Monday March 28, 2016 by , New York
The phone stopped working in 15 days after initial use. Did not start up again. Also, they gave me an area code far away from the area and when I realized why emplouers wouldn't call it was too late. They only care for funding from the State using your information and they do NOT provide service. Shameful!

COMPLETE AMATEURS

Budget Wireless and UMX - what stinking rookies. Crappy phone, zero customer service, an unreadable 'User Manual', (you should excuse the expression) = throw this piece of s**t away and go with a different network.
