Overall, great phone!

1. Simple, inexpensive, reliable, and well made, despite the use of cheap materials (plastic).
2. Very good battery life (lasts for over 4 days on one full battery charge, when used mostly for voice calls, SMS, and some web browsing through WiFI. I have tested it with 3G/HSPA off, in 2G/GSM/EDGE only mode, though. Testing in 3G/HSPA mode is yet to be done by me.)
3. Good reception. No problems with the signal anywhere I went with it (sometimes even works in underground, if not too deep). But, again, I have only tested the phone in 2G/GSM/EDGE only mode, with 3G turned off to extend battery life.
4. Small, compact design, easy to carry, fits into almost any jeans or shirt pocket.
5. Easy to use controls, well shaped physical keys (Power, Home and volume control).
6. Stylish design, with textured back cover surface, which also prevents the device from sliding out of sweaty hands.
7. Fast and responsive interface, with very little lagging.
1. The main and probably, the only one, in my opinion, is the low-quality and low-resolution display, with clearly visible pixels, which makes even good quality pictures look ugly! These days, such a display looks cheap and low-grade, even on inexpensive budget devices! On the other hand, though, I think it is due to this small, low-quality and low-res display that this phone has such a good battery life, since it's power consumption is low.
2. Camera. For a 3 megapixel, the quality of pictures it takes, could have been much better! Also, it is lacking flash and night mode, so forget about taking pictures in the dark!
3. Android 2.3 Gingerbread is probably all this phone can handle due to it's hardware limitations (with 800 Mhz single core CPU and only 384 Mb of RAM, I'm not sure if it can be upgraded to even 2.4)
Verdict: IMHO, if crappy quality display and camera with no flash won't stop you, this phone is definitely worth buying!

This is a great phone for texting and phoning only. The camera quality is c*** and the browser is c***. Most of the time I cannot get onto the browser with the wifi, even though it says I'm connected. I don't have a data plan and don't want one. In regards to using the browser, I'm very disappointed.

I've been using it for week - works well. Can't see the reason to spend another two or three hundred bucks for a pay as you go...

cheap good working phone

First of all, i bought this phone because i was bored of my blackberry. I wanted to be able to do a lot of things with my phone and i was surprise how much it was simple to use. really fast app loading time even if some user told that it wasn't any good. I must admit that with any android phone it is a must to have some kind of a cleaner to free some memory. Personally i use Clean Master. WiFi is really fast!I was able to run almost any app i wanted the sound is good , louder than my curve. it doesn't have a any physical keyboard but a touch one appear when you need it by the way really sensitive. Plus even with running app texting and calling the battery life was about 5 days. i recommend this phone to anyone wanting an android phone on a budget

I bought LG Optimus L3 from Rogers, and I find it to be a very good little phone for it's price. It is relatively cheap (only $125), small, compact, easy to carry (easily fits into almost any pants or shirt pocket) smartphone with a good battery life (a fully charged battery lasted for over 3 days). Yet, it is powered by Android 2.3 with all the capabilities of that system! The phone is well made, the quality of material is good, and it is likely to be reliable!
The design is pretty stylish, unlike most of today's smartphones, which all look almost the same! My only complaint is a very low-resolution screen, which ruins the whole impression about this phone. The picture quality is really crap! LG could have really done a better job with the display! Otherwise, it is a great phone, especially for it's price, and, if you don't mind a low-res and low-quality display, I definitely recommend buying it!

Too basic

I decided I'd try this cheap phone out after using a broken down Blackberry curve for 2 years. Ugh, i think i might go back to my curve.

Nothing seems to work quickly or with any speed... it's a nice little screen but that's it
