A few quirks, but pretty solid on the whole.

I picked the phone up yesterday, and on the whole I'm pretty happy with it. The unlock took a bit to figure out (The button's on the bottom left side, not the 0 key with the lock picture), and for some reason the t9 doesn't seem to recognize words I spell out, which makes texting a bit of a chore, especially if you use alot of custom smileys like I do. Also, the phone won't automatically capitalize the first word in the sentence, which again is a minor irritation. However, I love how light and small the phone is, and the call quality is great. Not a bad entry phone at all, IMHO.

LG Masterpiece

I just picked up the Masterpiece yesterday. I love the lightweight and easy user interface. This isn't a phone loaded with toys, but it has the basics like calendar, calculator, tip calculator, notepad, stopwatch, voicecommand, camera, etc etc. For someone who's not interested in a phone with all the gadgets and just wants something practical and easy to carry around this is the one.

Only one issue I'm having so far and I'm sure it's my own fault and has an easy solution: the Keyguard lock function can't be unlocked. I have to take the battery out and pop it back in in order to unlock it. I tried downloading the user guide and following the instructions there but that didn't work either. I've turned the Keyguard off to make my life easier. I'll eventually figure it out I'm sure.

Good Phone

I just recently picked this phone up. So far I am very pleased with it. I originally had the Lg Keybo, but couldn't get used to the qwerty keyboard, and find I'm more of a T9 guy. Unfortunately this phone only has the 1.3 megapixel camera and no external memory slot. However, I find it incredibly slim, and not bulky like most other phones. The battery cover is also very easy on the eyes as it has the basket weave metal cover, which in my opinion makes the phone looks much nicer. Also, a nice little feature is the vibrate mode when using the joystick. It may seem funny, but when your flipping through contacts, or other settings, it just makes it that much better. Overall, this slim and trim phone is excellent for those who aren't looking for all the bells and whistles and just want a simple, yet sharp looking phone.
