Never again

I bought this phone mainly for the fact I had previously owned an LG U 8110 while living in England.

Compaired to that phone this one is pretty bad. And my older one was bought around 2002/2003.

First off the camera is ok, but many other phones have much better cameras. Some rival my own digital camera. For just snapping quick pics however its alright, although if you're wanting a phone specifically with a camera I'd choose another one over this one.
You also end up with about 50 black pictures if you keep this phone in your pocket. You are able to snap pictures with the phone closed which I guess LG thought would be a good idea for some unknown reason.

The video recording is appauling. The longest I've been able to record a video was 23 seconds using economy mode. If I use high quality, I get a max of 8 seconds. I don't see the point in having 10, 20 second videos. I'd rather have 1 three min video.
As well, every once in a while it seems to want to record my videos upside down. Not sure why.
The audio for the videos is very harsh too. Lots of echoing.

The mp3 function on it is ok. It comes with a 512MB mem card which you can fit about 100 songs on. However it takes about 2 min or so to upload each song! Ridiculous, as it completely drains your battery. Also you cannot use your mp3's as ringtones.

The headset it comes with is crappy at best. Mines worn out already and I can't use my old LG headset with it for some reason. It recognises the headset being plugged in but I hear no sound through the headphones. I've only owned this phone for 6 months.

Another thing I'm not sure if its with my Rogers network or if its with my phone specifically, but whenever I make an outgoing call, I hear a beep in my ear every so often and my caller hears themselves echoing. It happens every time.

Frankly for the money I spent on this phone, I would have been better off buying a digital cam corder and a seperate mp3 player for just a few bucks more.

I gave it 1 star for all the above reasons. But I also factored in the fact my OLDER phone from LG was far far FAR better than this one being 3 years older than it.

This phone is okay, however i found that LG phones are very slow, and my vibrate mode is very weak to a point where i can't feel it. Anyway, I would like to know how to use the infrared option.
