Not Impressed with iPhone6, Insurance, or AT&T

My iPhone 6 is about two months old. A few weeks after I bought the phone, it stopped reading my thumbprint and won't allow me to reset it. It tells me to choose s different finger. I want to use my thumb.
The screen freezes on a regular basis.
Siri was better on my iPhone 3 than this one. She has to "think about" things too long and tells me she is "unavailable for tasks" far too often. She's basically useless.
Today, I put my phone I my front pocket, and when I pulled it out to use, the screen was shattered underneath the Otter Box. Unbelievable. I am told that because I have insurance, it will cost me $199 and two weeks to replace. I asked about buying a new phone today and was told I would have to buy out my contract to do that and it would cost me $750.
