BBM Music is a new BlackBerry service that enables social and viral music discovery by allowing users to build an evolving, community-based music library that is shared amongst their BBM Music friends.

It takes around 1MB per song, but gets cached to the device after first stream.

With BBM Music, clients can:

• Build their 50-song music profile
• Create playlists from songs in their own and their friends’ profiles
• Share playlists or single songs
• Listen to music friends recommend
• Follow their friends and comment on their music and view activity timeline
• Send their BBM friends a link to your music within a chat
• Cached for offline listening

Available to clietns with a BlackBerry smartphone. This service is not supported on BIS Lite or BIS Social while on 3G.
